Revelation is an easy book to understand. God takes a lot of the guesswork out by often telling John what he is seeing. Critics of Revelation don’t like what John is seeing so they pan the book. read Revelation then ask yourself, is this happening today?
A woman in the Bible is used as a symbol for God’s people. There are chaste and unchaste women depicted throughout the Bible. The two mothers portrayed in Revelation are opposites. One is arrayed in white and blessed by God. The other has sold herself to be the Mother of all harlots. The harlot mother uses the power of the state to persecute and kill the real church.
Most preachers and prophecy teachers use the words apocalypse or apocalyptic when describing Revelation. In the Greek, the WORD REVELATION is ap-ok-al’-oop-sis. This word means something revealed. The word apocalypse has been mis-defined. This word has become synonymous with Revelation CH 6 and the four horsemen and all the dreadful judgments that follow. As we move through these messages, hold the thought of something “revealed” instead of something dreadful.
Most Christians can recite many of the 10 commandments and some try to live by them. The problem with living by rules or the Law is we invariably break them. When we break a rule, we remind ourselves to do better only to realize the next time we break a rule; we remind ourselves to try harder.

The Ministry of the Towel doesn’t come with any glitter or praise of men. People aren’t making a mad dash to sign up for the job. Yet Jesus made it the most IMPORTANT job in the kingdom. The BLESSING BELONGS TO THE SERVER NOT THE SERVED.
Wikipedia, the Online Encyclopedia, has this to say about Jesus: ‘Jesus certainly existed, as virtually every competent scholar of antiquity, Christian or non-Christian, agrees. He was arrested and tried by the Jewish authorities, turned over to the Roman government, and crucified on the order of Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect.’ And that is where all agreement stops.
“Come and see, go and tell!” is the Easter mandate for the church. Notice the angels FIRST announces the LIVING CHRIST! Then they say he is risen AS HE SAID! The emphasis is on LIVING NOT DIEING OR DEATH!
20/20 vision tells us Jesus suddenly appears at his temple three times. The first time is 8 days after his birth. Luke CH 2 says a man named Simeon, and a woman named Anna proclaimed the baby to be the messiah.
